Christy Campbell

Christy Campbell is a fierce advocate for service to the community, and for assisting those for whom the legal system may seem intimidating or out of reach. She started her career at Kansas Legal Services where she worked for 10 years as a general litigation attorney and then 3 years as the Statewide Pro Bono Director, during which time she actively connected innumerable clients with opportunities for solutions that otherwise would have seemed unattainable. While her primary area of practice is family law, her skill set is wide-ranging, and the network she has cultivated around the state reaches into every legal arena.

As a result of her tireless work over the past 13 years, Christy has been invited to join multiple prestigious organizations and received many accolades. She is a past President of the Wichita Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and the Wichita Women Attorneys Association, and she chairs the WBA Pro Bono Committee. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, Wesley E. Brown Inn of Court, and is a Kansas Bar Foundation Fellow. She formerly sat on the StepStone/Dear Neighbor board and the Access to Justice Committee. In 2018, as recognition for the history of unwavering ideals and uncompromising work ethic that she has become identified within the Kansas legal community, she received both the Washburn Law Graduate of the Last Decade Award and the WBA President’s Award.
